Fervor Records announce Mid-Century Sounds 2xLP

Phoenix based label Fervor Records have announced the June 16 release of a double LP comprised of three decades of cult hits, deep cuts, b-sides and rarities from the archives of Floyd Ramsey. Ramsey had a remarkable ability to spot and nurture talent including recording engineer Jack Miller (The Rolling Stones, The Monkees, The Animals), musician/songwriter/producer Connie Conway, songwriter/producer/artist Lee Hazlewood (Duane Eddy, Nancy Sinatra, Dean Martin), and icons including Waylon Jennings, Wayne Newton, Duane Eddy, and famed Wrecking Crew guitarist and Billboard Chart topper Al Casey to name a few. Gold Casio announce new EP release for June 23

Portland dance gods Gold Casio have announced a release date for their Fever Dreams EP. The band were recently named the "best emerging electronic/experimental Portland-based artist" by The Deli Portland. The Portland Mercury raves, "The band melds campy, gold-plated disco with glitchy indie-pop, and the result is groovy and danceable—you can’t avoid this boogie fever, so might as well let it infect you." Keep an eye out for this band to break through on a national level with their June 23 EP release. 

Junior Astronomers share video for "Laid Out"

Treble has premiered the new video from NC's Junior Astronomers, saying "Against the upbeat, emotional charge of the catchy, guitar-driven song, the clip depicts frontman Terence Richard lying on the ground and breaking up with a girl, looking lost and a bit bewildered as a result, and the weird and wild aftermath. It’s a great fit for any festival-bound road-trip playlist you’re putting together."

This summer in select cities on the east coast, B-52s fans will have a chance to catch founding member Cindy Wilson on solo tour with a band of all-star Athens, GA musicians, playing a new style of music that's equally easy to party to. Doghouse Charlie premiere "Susquehanna" over at Atwood Magazine

Scranton, PA's psychedelic folk outfit, Doghouse Charlie have just premiered their latest single and Atwood Magazine has the exclusive stream. They're calling "Susquehanna" a "psychedelic symphony of emotion" with "genre-bending swirls of tasteful textures."
