Earlier this summer, Fervor Records released an incredible compilation of deep cuts from the archives of Arizona recording legend Floyd Ramsey. One of those songs, "My World," by Waylon Jennings, was featured in new hit movie The Glass Castle. The movie is in theatres now and you can stream the song below!
Newly aired episode 504 of Netflix original series Orange is the New Black features a track off Fervor Records' incredible compilation, Mid-Century Sounds, which features deep-cuts, b-sides, and never before released material from some of the most noteworthy musicians of the 50s-70s.
The Tads were the most prolific Phoenix, AZ black vocal group in the late 50's. Their single "She is My Dream" can be found playing in the background of the diner scene in OITNB episode 504, as well as on Side A of the Fervor Records compilation due out June 16.
