Denver-based indie folk troubadour Kramies will be releasing a new EP on Hidden Shoal Records this fall. Today, Clash Magazine has premiered a new track featuring and produced by Jason Lytle of Grandaddy. Kramies says of the video, “The inspiration came from my obsession with folklore, ghosts and spirits, and the imagery of old haunted castles. The video became this artful combination of old world combined with whimsical animation." Check it out below and grab a free download of the track via Bandcamp HERE.
Coattails, a four piece out of Austin, have dropped the lead single from their upcoming EP, Imaginary Friends. The track, “Waves” just saw its debut on Treble Magazine, who call the track “a haunting epic, dramatic and ominous in its scope, balancing eerie, atmospheric verses with explosive choruses. There are traces of ’90s-era Radiohead coursing through the art-rock anthem, as well as some elements of traditional American blues.” It’s a lovely alt-rock track for your Tuesday, so head over to Treble, or check out the track below. Coattails’ Imaginary Friends EP will be out on November 9!

Danny Golden, a singer/songwriter out of Austin, TX, has just dropped the first single off his upcoming LP, Old Love. The track is a lush americana number, with sweeping choral hooks and delicate instrumentation, letting DG's songwriting take center stage on this number. This is the first single from the Nov. 2 release, and sets the tone for the whole album. Feelings of nostalgia come to mind upon first listen, and it's a track about, according to Danny Golden, "the once in a lifetime people we meet and lose along the way. Lovers, friends, family, etc... whoever they may be. We never see them coming and we’re never the same once they've left.”
