Pollen Rx Premiere "Sunbelt Emptiness" on PureVolume

Pollen Rx have premiered the title track off their upcoming album earlier over at PureVolume. The track begins with a caustic guitar squeal that shows off the bands punk influences before they launch into the rest of the track, which slowly stirs its way into full on indie rock jam. There's a great tradeoff in male/female vocals that compliments the ever back and forth rhythm of the song. PureVolume says "Sunbelt Emptiness" has "the hallmarks of good songwriting;" take a listen and hear for yourself.

Pollen Rx premiere "Sand in the Well" at Impose

Austin natives Pollen Rx have premiered the first single from their upcoming record, Sunbelt Emptiness, over at Impose Magazine. On "Sand In The Well" the garage punk rockers go endearingly off-kilter. It launches in with a pop of fast paced guitar and later on "leads us into a punk gem riddled with the crashing of cymbals and instrumentals." The song is a bright blast of high energy garage rock, so turn it up loud and take a listen.

No Nets premiere video for "Dark Matter"

Brooklyn's No Nets released Bright Light back in October, but today they've premiered the video for "Dark Matter" from that record over at Pancakes and Whiskey. The video shows the band jamming along altogether in a room bathed in blue light, providing the perfect setting for the group to frolic around to the pop punk instrumentation. "Dark Matter" is a fun song that still manages to harness a bit of snarl, which is captured quite well in the music video. According to the folks over at Pancakes and Whiskey, "'Dark Matter' balances on a tight-rope of punk and pop-rock sensibility that is refreshing and adventurous." Spend a few minutes with the band and find out.
