Pollen Rx premiere "Sand in the Well" at Impose

Austin natives Pollen Rx have premiered the first single from their upcoming record, Sunbelt Emptiness, over at Impose Magazine. On "Sand In The Well" the garage punk rockers go endearingly off-kilter. It launches in with a pop of fast paced guitar and later on "leads us into a punk gem riddled with the crashing of cymbals and instrumentals." The song is a bright blast of high energy garage rock, so turn it up loud and take a listen.

No Nets premiere video for "Dark Matter"

Brooklyn's No Nets released Bright Light back in October, but today they've premiered the video for "Dark Matter" from that record over at Pancakes and Whiskey. The video shows the band jamming along altogether in a room bathed in blue light, providing the perfect setting for the group to frolic around to the pop punk instrumentation. "Dark Matter" is a fun song that still manages to harness a bit of snarl, which is captured quite well in the music video. According to the folks over at Pancakes and Whiskey, "'Dark Matter' balances on a tight-rope of punk and pop-rock sensibility that is refreshing and adventurous." Spend a few minutes with the band and find out.

Serengeti and Sicker Man premiere new track at The A.V. Club

Today, The A.V. Club premiered a brand new track from long time collaborators, Serengeti & Sicker Man. These two are no stranger to working with each other to make alternative hip hop/rap tracks, but this time around they're sharing the stage completely to release their forthcoming record, Doctor My Own Patience. The folks over at The A.V. Club debuted the single and title track of that record today, commenting on the duo's blend of Sicker Man's "soft, sullen piano lines," and Serengeti's verse about being 'too anxious,' and "looking for release from it all."

Check out the track below, and pre-order Doctor My Own Patience, which is out December 9th via Graveface Records.
