The album was composed by Dave Mann with production and tracking help from Jarrett Nicolay at Mixtape Studios in Alexandria, VA. "'Twin Coasts' is my love letter to all those west coast kids. In the early 2000s, I spent 9 months up and down California’s state lines and I absolutely adored the scenery. The vibe out there is incredibly chill compared to what you’ll find out on the east coast. As much as I love the ‘Hakuna Matata’ ethos out there, I’m equally in love with what I’ve embraced out here on the opposite side of the country. I feel like both coasts are twins. They’re certainly not identical twins but they have enough similarities between them both to bring them together for a nice thanksgiving meal around the table with that drunk uncle who always shows up for the free booze." - Dave Mann
