Ava Renn Shares New Single and Video "None the Wiser"

Ava Renn has released her latest single, “None the Wiser,” along with an accompanying video, ahead of her debut album Lightning Child.

Written after most of the album was completed, the song came out of a period of personal reflection. Renn describes it as a meditation on repeating patterns and the challenge of learning from past decisions: “It attests to the frustrating churn of making circular decisions, being none the wiser to what you’ve thought you learned. It’s a desperate cry to end a cycle that I think everyone, on some level, has experienced.”

The single features Renn’s signature pop-rock sound, with driving guitars and thoughtful lyrics, and the video visually underscores the song’s themes. “None the Wiser” offers a clear sense of the tone and direction of Lightning Child, Renn’s upcoming debut.
