Easter Island reveal second in series of videos from quarantine

Athens, GA’s Easter Island will be releasing a new record at the end of the year and like many other artists, have found the idea of promoting a new album a bit challenging. Despite having the members spread across different cities during quarantine, lead singer turned video director Ethan Payne was able to capture each of them (socially distant) in their own environment to paint a picture of what these times look like for any of us. Ryan Monahan, featured in the new video below which premiered at Beats Per Minute, treks on his motorbike from his place of residence in Denver to White Sands National Park. Take All The Time You Think You Need is out December 11.

Grand Master release debut full-length album today

Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, multi-instrumentalist Derek Walker is now located in Los Angles and releases his debut LP as Grand Master today. Everything but drums were played by Walker himself, enlisting Eddie Vedder’s former drummer Bad Radio and current United Ghosts drummer Joey Ponchetti for percussion with Mark Rains (Black Rebel Motorcycle ClubDeath Valley GirlsShooter JenningsKris Kristofferson) at the helm. Rains also handled the mixing before the tracks were turned over to JJ Golden (SoundgardenMorgan DeltTy SegallThe WarlocksSonic Youth) for mastering.

Grey Factor release new single + announce Oct 9 EP

Pioneers of the Los Angeles underground art damage electronic music scene, Grey Factor, have been more myth than legend for over 40 years. The band never released a recorded album but made a massive footprint with their packed out live performances. This year, they have decided to finally reveal a recording. The first single is out now and their “debut” EP, The Perils of Popularity, will be out October 9.
