Wishing a very happy release day to Jupe Jupe!

Seattle’s dark dance pop group Jupe Jupe is releasing their new EP, Nightfall, today and we invite you to check out the outstanding single “Leave You Lonely” below! The Joy of Violent Movement call the song “New Order-like” and say “Centered around shimmering synth arpeggios, angular guitar blasts, a propulsive bass line, four-on-the-floor drumming, My Young’s plaintive vocals and an infectious hook — and while being a decidedly ambitious and cinematic pop confection, the song expresses an aching yearning.” Purchase the EP on Bandcamp or stream it on your favorite platform!

The Dinah joins hands with the LPGA to celebrate women in music and sport

For the first time in 30 years of The Dinah, the event officially joins hands with the LPGA to unite our community and celebrate women in music, sport, and all those that appreciate either.

The Dinah Shore Weekend began as a gathering of women who trekked to Palm Springs for the annual women's golf tournament and has grown into the largest gathering of queer women in the world.

Palm Springs continues to play host to both The Dinah and The ANA Inspiration, one of the five major events in women's golf. Three women currently on the LPGA tour and participating in the championship will be making a special appearance at The Dinah, meeting with Dinah attendees and hosting a special VIP cocktail party in collaboration with SHOWTIME at the Black and White Ball.

Come meet ANA Inspiration golfers Mel Reid, Cheyenne Knight and Alena Sharp, mingle with Dinah celebrities and celebrate women's mastery in sports.

As a bonus, all Dinah attendees will receive special pricing to the 101 ANA Inspirational. Go to anainspiration.com/tickets-2020 and use the code DINAH2020 to redeem your tickets.

Singer/songwriter Layton Greene will bring her honest and inspiring message to The Dinah's 30th anniversary celebration!

Joining the star-studded lineup for this year's event, The Dinah is pleased to welcome R&B sensation Layton Greene to the 2020 lineup. Layton's message to her listeners is to be your true authentic self; something The Dinah has been representing since it's beginning. Despite being dealt a hand in life that wouldn't typically lead one to a path of stardom, Greene overcame the odds and carved the path that allowed her to share her voice and her strength.

The Dinah will bring hip-hop sensation Jozzy and R&B/Soul pioneer SWSH to the Sunday pool party stage!

The Sunday pool party at the 2020 Dinah Shore Weekend will feature performances from hip-hop breakout Jozzy and the new R&B artist to watch SWSH.

Jozzy has written music for superstars such as Beyoncé, Chris Brown, Ciara, and Fergie but is now breaking out as a solo artist to bring her true artistic self to the masses. The queer rapper and songwriter penned Billy Rae Cyrus' verse for the Grammy-nominated hit "Old Town Road" by recently out rapper Lil Nas X. She holds a positive vision for the future of LGBTQ+ artists braving the world we live in, saying "I'm me. I'm not trying to impose my beliefs on you, but you gotta respect my music and respect who I am. And I feel like, once we start doing more of that, we gonna be good."

As said in a recent feature by Live Nation, "SWSH seems to have no problem in expressing her individuality and courageously using her music as a platform to speak about issues she’s genuinely invested in." The Dinah embraces and supports expressing oneself sincerely and unapologetically and this is why we resonate so much with the work this valiant artist is producing. This non-binary neo-soul musician and self-proclaimed “big bitch in lipstick and a midriff” speaks out about equality and acceptance through her music and her public interviews, saying in a conversation with TIME Magazine, "People and their sexualities are much more complex than just gay or straight." This fearless singer creates her work with confidence and originality which is what makes them the perfect artist to showcase at The Dinah's epic 30th anniversary!

Lion Babe will headline the epic Saturday pool party at The Dinah's 30th anniversary.

This year, The Dinah welcomes the innovative and fearless R&B group Lion Babe who personify the message of the event - create and express what feels genuine and true. The duo uses the term "futuristic nostalgia" to classify their blend of classic and modern sounds; something they are unique in bringing to our current musical landscape. Lion Babe have collaborated with Pharrell Williams, Childish Gambino, Angel Haze, Wu-Tang Clan's Raekwon, and 2019 Dinah headliner Leikeli47. This will be a performance not to be missed!
