The Lovely Sparrows return with Billboard premiere!

The Lovely Sparrows, the longtime Austin area project of Shawn Jones, have made their return from a seven year hiatus from the pop music world to bring you this video for “A Light,” which just premiered on Billboard today! The video is done by Fantagraphics artist, Derek Van Gieson, and features in depth stylized animation of a character living in a post-apocalyptic world on a quest. Musically, “A Light” is soft indie rock, with frenetic riffs and a feeling of constant motion; kind of like a swirling undercurrent that pulls you in and holds you under. Take a peek at the video below and get excited for The Lovely Sparrows first LP in 7 years, Shake The Shadow, which will be out this Friday on Abandoned Love Records.
