The Wild Honey Pie challenge the music fest norm with Welcome Campers

Taking place May 26-28, 2018 at Camp Lenox in Western Massachusetts, Welcome Campers is The Wild Honey Pie's answer to the mammoth music festival norm. Offering all the best parts of summer camp (water activities, arts and crafts, bonfires, hiking and so much more), Welcome Campers is a musical discovery getaway like no other. Gold Casio stream Sinners EP before 4/20 release

Gold Casio are set to release their Sinners EP this Friday via Freakout Records but Oregon Public Broadcast have the stream a few days in advance to hold you over. Check out the tunes HERE then head HERE to preorder your copy! 

DEZORAH share lead single from Creando Azul

McAllen, TX post-progressive band DEZORAH have announced the May 25 release of their new EP, Creando Azul, and shared the first single via Atwood Magazine, who say, "Passionate and intense, 'Intención' surges with intimate, apocalyptic energies as DEZORAH find catharsis in emotional awakenings and relief. Stream it below and keep an eye on DEZORAH as they head out on national tour in support of the release. 

Frankie Simone gets love from NPR, Bust, Bitch Media for festival performances

Portland-based pop artist Frankie Simone will be releasing her debut EP for Infinite Companion on June 1, and she's been busy in the meantime! Before heading to Austin for SXSW, she was hand picked by NPR's Bob Boilen for their SXSW preview (here). After the event, Katie Presley picked her new single for her SXSW recap playlist (here). And pre-Treefort Festival appearance, Bust put the song on their preview playlist (here). Don't sleep on Frankie Simone! 

Porlolo share their new 'catchy anthem' at Glide Magazine

Porlolo, the project or Erin Roberts out of Fort Collins, CO, will be releasing their new EP, Awards, at the end of the month. From this EP, they've just dropped a new catchy anthem for your listening ears. "I Don't Want To Lose" is the second track from the EP, and Glide Magazine calls it a "catchy anthem," filled with hooks and riffs that stay with you: "The catchy anthem balances indie-rock-meets-twang guitar playing that at times brings to mind the dream pop sounds of acts like Luna. Roberts shows off her ability to write and sing choruses that linger in your mind long after listening." Gold Casio share one more single before 4/20 EP release

We've already heard the banger "Love vs Logic" and the title track "Sinners," but today Gold Casio give us "a fun, upbeat track that brings a heavy dose of funk, with lots of contemporary electronic flourishes." Treble have the premiere, and they made comparisons to Yeasayer, Chromeo, and Hot Chip. Check it out below and keep an eye out for the EP from Freakout Records on April 20!
