Blending lush, futuristic sounds with the pulse of primal urge, Gold Casio delivers disco-driven anthems designed to rock listeners to the depths of their cores. Conceived inside the carved-out belly of a 19th-century church in Portland, Oregon, Gold Casio is a colorful vision of irreverence, glamour and mystical devotion to the unholy deities of electro-funk and indietronica.

Brothers Brock Vesvius Cassian and Julius Cassian and musical cultists Ela Ra and Saint Siris manipulate synths, arpeggiators, beats, bass and vocal cords to fulfill their musical vocation of entrancing the masses through their Nu Disco rituals.

Pulling inspiration from the likes of Chromeo, Jungle, Prince and Niki & The Dove, Gold Casio pumps out massive beats and melodies to the acclaim of fevered, sweating crowds throughout Portland and the West Coast. Its 2017 record-release show packed the 300-person Doug Fir Lounge to capacity—on a Monday.

Gold Casio’s music is written, recorded, produced and mixed entirely by the band within its unholy musical temple. Its first EP, Fever Dreams, emerged in the summer of 2017 and features infectious singles “Last Song” and “Socialites & Singer Types”. The band’s self-produced music video for “Last Song” debuted on Billboard at the same time. Its second EP is slated for release in the spring of 2018.

The band’s live show generates pure vibrancy and sex appeal through eye-catching costumes, young energy and gorgeous vocalizing. Cohorts throughout the Portland music scene augment the experience with technical expertise and seasoned stage presence. With members in Portland and Brooklyn, the all-consuming web of Gold Casio’s influence continues to spread, showing limitless potential to captivate music scenes from coast to coast and beyond.
