Kramies announces new EP, shares first single at Culture Collide
/American dream-pop troubadour Kramies started the writings of what would become his newest EP while residing on the grounds of an ancient castle in Ireland. The first offering from the October 19 EP to be released by Hidden Shoal Records is "The Hill Dweller," which features Jerry Becker of Train and is out today. "Employing lush string arrangements, horns and a myriad of found sounds, the tune is truly transporting," say Culture Collide who have the premiere. /The Wild Honey Pie, director Emmett Kerr-Perkinson, Poliça and s t a r g a z e have teamed up to create two gorgeous session videos recorded at Douglass Recording in Brooklyn. AltCitizen helped debut the videos saying, "Both empathetic and cautionary, 'How Is This Happening' and 'Agree' recorded in this stripped down arrangement are even more vulnerable and poignant – a crystalline soundbite of the feelings of the time."
