Swahili Blonde share EP stream via LA Weekly

"Deities [in Decline] is, like the albums that preceded it, a strangely serene shower of lightly electronicized, dubby-poppy midsummer madness."

The Swahili Blonde project of "L.A. resident, label owner, philosophically bent musician and wordsmith, and recording engineer" Nicole Turley just released a new EP Deities in Decline on Turley's own Neurotic Yell Records and John Payne of LA Weekly took the time to chat with Turley about the project and premiere the full stream, which you can check out HERE

Good Field share new video for "Business"

Austin, TX outfit Good Field have shared the video for lead single "Business" off their upcoming sophomore LP Future Me, due out July 28.

"Director Zachary T Scott follows the exploits of two masked criminals during the deceptively soft song, swinging baseball barrels at an unsuspecting house-owner. The efforts aren't for some straight-forward robbery, however. The two figures take their rewards home and use them for a pretty unique party. Which, as you'll see, wasn't a great idea either." - The 405

Hear Marion Walker's "Serious Picnic" EP the way it was meant to be heard.

Seattle trio Marion Walker are not one for short cuts. While we previously shared the first 6 minutes of their new Serious Picnic EP as a pseudo-single, today, we are pleased to share the EP in it's entirety. An 11-minute, 11-second beast, the EP is, according to PopMatters, "gritty garage rock with serious psychedelic undertones" and it's out tomorrow via Casino Trash Records.
