The album sees Cash stepping out on his own but not sacrificing any bit of the epic sounds we grew to love from Oak House with their Hot or Mood album three years ago. Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, multi-instrumentalist Derek Walker is now located in Los Angles and releases his debut LP as Grand Master today. Everything but drums were played by Walker himself, enlisting Eddie Vedder’s former drummer Bad Radio and current United Ghosts drummer Joey Ponchetti for percussion with Mark Rains (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Death Valley Girls, Shooter Jennings, Kris Kristofferson) at the helm. Rains also handled the mixing before the tracks were turned over to JJ Golden (Soundgarden, Morgan Delt, Ty Segall, The Warlocks, Sonic Youth) for mastering.
