Joseph Sant releases new single from Before Calamity EP

Happy New Music Friday! Brooklyn musician Joseph Sant has a treat for you today in the form of “Osprey,” the gorgeous and reflective new single from his upcoming EP release, Before Calamity. Speaking of the inspiration behind the song, Sant says, “Like much of my music, this song grapples with questions. I remember growing up learning about astronomers from a few centuries ago. In stories about them, they gaze up at the stars and have that odd feeling of being crushed by the infinite nature of the stars they were studying. They called that feeling the “sublime”. Today, a sublime feeling awaits those who look out on humanity’s horizon and see the many possible cataclysmic futures we might bring on ourselves. It feels like a screwed up modern descendant of those ancient emotions: a glimpse of the infinite potential of what humanity could be, betraying itself. What does it mean when you glimpse that future, then have to look back at your own little sphere of existence, trying to live a good life of love?“

Ally Brooke to headline the most spectacular Dinah Shore Weekend ever!

Celebrating 30 years, The Dinah is proud to announce one of the nation's most popular and exciting new solo artists, poised to make some beautiful noise on the international stage in 2020.

The spirit of The Dinah has always been to celebrate women paving their own path and breaking glass ceilings so the talent presented at the event each year intentionally represents and honors that vision. This is why we are so excited to announce our first headlining performance of 2020! Ally Brooke found her breakout with the multi-platinum group Fifth Harmony but is finally finding her own voice as she prepares to release her debut solo album. Having been in the industry since age 12, she's now breaking out on her own to wield her unique artistic voice and share with the world her true self, no longer having to subscribe to the collective mission of a group. With an incredible stage presence and creative motivation, Ally's performance promises to deliver an engaging and memorable performance at The Dinah 2020!

The Dinah makes Jeopardy debut!

Celebrating 30 years as the largest all-girl music festival in the world, the famous Club Skirts Dinah Shore Weekend is thrilled to bring you their biggest event yet in 2020. Ring in a new century with amazing musical performances, comedy shows, pool parties, nighttime soirees, celebrity meet and greets, contests, DJ Battles, fun and games, and so much more.

After three decades of this iconic event, The Dinah has finally made it into the canon of pop culture with their recent inclusion on Jeopardy, who asked: "Natasha Bedingfield and Pat Benatar have headlined the female-friendly Palm Springs festival named for this late TV star."

"Alex, for $1000, what is that female-friendly festival?! The Dinah!"

Named for Dinah Shore, iconic singer, actress, and golf fan, The Dinah has evolved from an annual gathering of women whose primary desert interest was golf, to the most fabulous celebration of female empowerment, visibility, and unity, where "female-friendly" could be seen as an understatement! However, Alex, we love how you have inadvertently changed the LGBT lexicon!
