DC band Caustic Casanova have just announced a three month US tour in support of the vinyl release of their 2015 album, Breaks. Breaks is the band's third full-length and their first on the Kylesa-run Retro Futurist Records. CC have been often compared to the heavy rock of Kylesa, as well as Torche, Fugazi, Rush, The Melvins, Queens of the Stoneage, and others. They're likely coming to your town. This fall, Caspian will take their final tour in support of 2015 LP, Dust and Disquiet, joined on all US dates by The Appleseed Cast. Caspian has credited The Appleseed Cast as being an early influence on their band and as such, the pairing is projected to go over well with fans of both acts. Additionally, both bands are planning new releases this year and will have new music to share on tour.
Chicago indie pop group Save the Clocktower have shared a new cut from the Taboo EP out this Friday. Hear "Something Different" at Austin Town Hall, who say the track "combines elements of synth and classic indie pop that will have you bobbing your head right along with the pulsating beats and whirling electronic sounds that make this song a dreamy gem."

Nashville's Chrome Pony recently wrapped up a UK/EU tour with Cage the Elephant and today they see the release of a new video pieced together from footage of their travels. It premiered at PureVolume, who say it "has the look of a homevideo that your father would record on a family vacation. The clip's lo-fi warmth gives fans a look at the band in candid moments on the road while capturing their raucous live show."
Austin, TX's Hunter Sharpe debuted their first single today via CraveOnline. The band will also be making appearances at SXSW next week. Full list of dates can be found HERE.
