Solilians have big news today-- they're streaming their new full-length album Shin early over at AllMusic! According to the folks over at AllMusic, Solilians "offer some much-needed serenity" on Shin. JERK's debut EP is due out this Friday, November 11. Today they share a playful new video for their latest single via Free Press Houston, who say it's "a track that we can truly get down to," and "While never making things too complicated, JERK proves that substance and style can go hand in hand." Houston, TX has a new project cooking in the form of minimalist pop trio JERK, who are set to release their debut EP via local label Very Jazzed on November 11. A week in advance of that release, they've dropped an "infectious" new single, "Accidents" at Vents Magazine.
Brooklyn's Stereo Off will be releasing their third EP early in 2017 and today they've shared the first single from that upcoming release over at CLRVYNT. The trio makes the perfect blend of new wave pop, and "Sunsetting" gives you an example of this dance-ready track. Starting off slow, a bit of horns and waves of pulsating synths echo through the mix before those lighter electronic elements chime in. Then Sebastian Marciano's vocals come, and as the folks over at CLRVYNT say, his voice melts "like chocolate into the background while trumpets and synthesizers tap out sounds to create a danceable and immaculate track."
