Caustic Casanova announce massive US summer/fall tour

DC band Caustic Casanova have just announced a three month US tour in support of the vinyl release of their 2015 album, Breaks. Breaks is the band's third full-length and their first on the Kylesa-run Retro Futurist Records. CC have been often compared to the heavy rock of Kylesa, as well as Torche, Fugazi, Rush, The Melvins, Queens of the Stoneage, and others. They're likely coming to your town. Bandcamp premieres new Atoms and Void video

The newest in the series of video releases from Atoms and Void in support of the long-awaited vinyl release of And Nothing Else is out today. The gorgeously shot video was directed by Greg Hunt, best known for his work on such seminal skateboarding films as Alien Workshop's Mind Field, Vans' Propeller, and TransWorld's Sight Unseen. The Appleseed Cast announce fall tour in support of Caspian

This fall, Caspian will take their final tour in support of 2015 LP, Dust and Disquiet, joined on all US dates by The Appleseed Cast. Caspian has credited The Appleseed Cast as being an early influence on their band and as such, the pairing is projected to go over well with fans of both acts. Additionally, both bands are planning new releases this year and will have new music to share on tour.
 

Juliana Wilson debuts first ever single via PopMatters

13 y/o Staten Island native Juliana Wilson has been busy in the Brooklyn studio of producer Matty Amendola (825 Records) for the past two years, and today she finally shares her very first single with the world. PopMatters said, "It’s a promising start to a very young career, and its well-composed maelstrom of angst, swirling guitars, and atmospheric expansiveness is a treat to hear."
