The debut album, And Nothing Else, from LA/Seattle project Atoms and Void has been many, many years in the making. Over the course of those years, a lot happened. Recording sessions in many cities and with many friends and collaborators. The video for "For Sharon, With Love" was created from footage taken over the course of these years and travels and edited by the ultra talented director Melissa Henderson. The result is sort of a "many years in the life" or "making of" movie. A look back at some of the moments that played into the resulting album, which will see vinyl release May 20 via Arctic Rodeo Recordings. Thank you to The 405 for the premiere.

Oakland trio Night School have just announced Blush, their debut LP, for a June 17 release on Graveface Records. CMJ shared the video for lead single "Last Disaster," saying, "it’ a perfect encapsulation of their thing: drowzy vocal takes on classic ’60s girl group harmonies, paired with tastefully fuzzy gits and a toe-tap beat."
Tetherball just dropped another single from his May 6 Physical Violins EP via Surviving the Golden Age who say, "Mixing elements of psychedelic rock and indie pop, the track sounds somewhere between Jim Noir and the Beatles. It seemingly defies you to be able to not get it stuck in your head."
