Crystal Bright and the Silver Hands share new single "Forest of Dreams"

No one will say it better than Joshua Pickard of Nooga.com who hosted the premiere of the new single from Crystal Bright and the Silver Hands:

"And with the release of their latest single, "Forest of Dreams," the band further blurs the line between these looping strands of pop noise, Eastern European rhythms and ecstatic vocal harmonies. The track is a whirling mix of euphoric waltzes, Bright’s airy voice and a gorgeous selection of pop arrangements that feel spirited and carry an inborn desire for companionship. Buoyed by a bright piano intro and a curiously shifting percussive foundation, it constructs a bridge across a handful of genres and lays the rhythmic foundation to connect people across wide stretches of geography."

"With big, ringing guitars alongside distant, buzzing vocals, it's easy to hear the past coming alive again onOptimists, the debut LP from Washington, DC, five-piece Mittenfields. At a cozy eight tracks, it's a quick, engaging listen, with more than enough melody and inspiration to propel it beyond a mere exercise in nostalgia."
