Furious Hoops Vol. 1 featured on Rolling Stone

In other Record Store Day news... Today, Rolling Stone gave a shout out to the Furious Hoops Vol. 1 compilation coming to you from another Savannah-based label, Furious Hooves. The theme is 90s basketball and the contributors range from local musicians to side projects from members of groups like Wild Nothing and Mac DeMarco. It's printed on basketball-orange vinyl and comes with a 44-page zine of related content. Dott + Night School share new tunes from Carousel 12" RSD split

With Record Store Day right around the corner, we've got some new tunes (one in video form!) out there off the Graveface Records' 12" split between Ireland's Dott and CA's Night School. BBC was kind enough to share the new Dott tune "Glue" while Baeble Music debuted the video Night School's cut "Unkind". Better get to your local Record Store Day participating shop this Saturday and snag your copy with a quickness! 

Crystal Bright and the Silver Hands share "Fall of the Seraph" video

NC group Crystal Bright and the Silver hands just shared the video for the lead single "Fall of the Seraph" off their upcoming The Absolute Elsewhere LP via AltSounds, who described the music as "whimsical and carnivalesque, and also capable of being haunting and even heartbreaking at times but never lacking in richness, depth, or beauty."

Sick of Sarah announce US tour

Minneapolis all-girl rock band Sick of Sarah have just announced their US spring tour dubbed "Place Your Bets" which will kick off April 5 in Nashville and cruise up the East coast, through the midwest, and all the way West with dates in NYC, Chicago, LA, Houston, and just about everywhere in between.
