West/Step share new single+video from upcoming album

West/Step is Nathan Whitman, a producer and songwriter based in Pittsburgh, PA. Peace Material is the sophomore effort from the musician that finds him settling into domestic life and looking to the future with bright optimism in seemingly dark times; a psychedelic folk record at heart. Love songs centered around life at home, built from repetitious samples, saturated synthesizers and motorik drum machines. It's headphone music for a peaceful journey into the void.

LA's El Sportivo releases new single ft. vocalist Omotola

The Los Angeles based project El Sportivo has released a new single in the midst of all the world’s uncertainty with a hope that the message will help people navigate a disconnected society and work to come together to make this place we call home a more peaceful and inclusive environment.

“Most importantly, this song’s lyrics and the people who brought the piece to life all point to an understanding that beyond all attempts to divide or separate us, we are ultimately and intrinsically connected,” says songwriter Daron Hollowell. “It feels like the absolute right moment for this song to be released as we face a world in transition, where the old systems and structures are being challenged, and we have an opportunity to build new ones in their place that reflect our commonality and unify us. It is my heartfelt hope that we do.”

The song is released today by Ring The Alarm and you can enjoy via Spotify and Soundcloud below.
