PARENTZ share new single at PopMatters

It's another Last Friday! That means a new song is out from Bay Area duo PARENTZ. PopMatters did the honors of premiering the song, saying, "It’s a multi-layered, ethereal composition that speaks well to the duo’s art-pop billing." Ural Thomas shares new song for Transference LP at Paste

Ural Thomas is a soul singer from Portland, OR who used to kick it with the likes of Otis Redding and James Brown. While Thomas ultimately didn't see the same massive success, he's still well known for his soulful pipes in certain circles in the Northeast. Paste Magazine was kind enough to share a new song from Ural Thomas and the Pain, one that was recreated from it's original release in 1896 for the Transference LP due out December 1 on Marmoset. Pistoleros announce 25th anniversary album, Silver

A new tune from Tempe legends Pistoleros is out today, in good company with St. Vincent, Beck, and dare we say... Taylor Swift in Arizona Republic's 10 Songs roundup.

The 25th anniversary album, Silver, is out November 3 on Fervor Records and AZ Central's Ed Masley thinks, "it could be my favorite thing they’ve ever done."

Caustic Casanova announce fall tour + share new single

DC heavy rock trio have just announced a run of US fall tour dates in support of their Pantheon: Vol 2 7" which will see release digitally and phyiscally tomorrow, September 8. After Hours Radio premiere new single at mxdwn

After Hours Radio are on their way to releasing their new EP and mxdwn has the premiere of their new single, "Maryland." The folks over at mxdwn call the track "dense and danceable," saying that "it feels like it fits a 10-minutes epic into a relatively compact three-and-a-half minute runtime." The indie rock track riffs on classic staple sounds of the genre with buzzing synths, half-spoken, half-sung lyrics, and cutting guitar licks. Marmoset announces Transference; shares new song from The Helio Sequence

Portland-based label/agency Marmoset have announced a December 1 release date for their Transference compilation LP. The album sources 10 songs from the public domain, all over 100 years old, and sees them reimagined by a host of artists from their network. The first of which was released today exclusively at Brooklyn Vegan, and it's by legendary Portland band The Helio Sequence. Preorder the album here. Stream the song below!
