Stereo Off premiere new single on CLRVYNT

Brooklyn's Stereo Off will be releasing their third EP early in 2017 and today they've shared the first single from that upcoming release over at CLRVYNT.  The trio makes the perfect blend of new wave pop, and "Sunsetting" gives you an example of this dance-ready track. Starting off slow, a bit of horns and waves of pulsating synths echo through the mix before those lighter electronic elements chime in. Then Sebastian Marciano's vocals come, and as the folks over at CLRVYNT say, his voice melts "like chocolate into the background while trumpets and synthesizers tap out sounds to create a danceable and immaculate track." Go take a listen to "Sunsetting."

EP III will be out February 3rd, 2017.

Solilians share new video via FLOOD

Space drone dreams outfit Solilians have a new LP due out November 18, and today they've shared a new video for “Hatikva: The Next Generation" via FLOOD Magazine

"...it’s a strange and discomfiting sound; the song, which is named for Israel’s national anthem, finds the sweetness of Malkin’s voice curdling until it feels like a taunt. Still, as the band turn slowly, a different light emerges, and for just a moment, it’s pretty enough to keep you from looking away."

Spelling Reform premiere new track at Impose

This morning, Impose premiered Spelling Reform's new single, "Expiration Date" as a part of their AM Gold feature. The track is a solid blend of bold power pop and indie rock, with distinct vocals that make singing along a requirement while listening. As Impose puts it, their sound "is Neil Young and Wilco inspired, but with a little genre bleeding twinge to it all." You'll want to make sure you stick around till the end of the song, when there's a bit of a building instrumental solo to round out the track nicely.

Spelling Reform will be releasing No One's Ever Changed on November 18th.

Dead Leaf Echo Premiere New Single, 'I Will Do (Anything),' on Brooklyn Vegan

Brooklyn's Dead Leaf Echo shared a new track from their upcoming split tape with Did You Die today over at Brooklyn Vegan. This song, "I Will Do (Anything)" is a classic example of shimmery shoegaze done right, complete with twangy guitars and building percussion. The ending of the track doubles down on the fuzz, moving away from airy shoegaze and into the realm of post rock. The group is about to take off on a tour, and may be coming to a city near you. Take a listen below and prepare yourself for that split cassette, which is out November 4th via Moon Sounds
