"And with the release of their latest single, "Forest of Dreams," the band further blurs the line between these looping strands of pop noise, Eastern European rhythms and ecstatic vocal harmonies. The track is a whirling mix of euphoric waltzes, Bright’s airy voice and a gorgeous selection of pop arrangements that feel spirited and carry an inborn desire for companionship. Buoyed by a bright piano intro and a curiously shifting percussive foundation, it constructs a bridge across a handful of genres and lays the rhythmic foundation to connect people across wide stretches of geography."
DC rock outfit Mittenfields saw the release of a new track off their forthcoming Optimists LP today via UK's Clash Music. "Assured in its songwriting and bluntly emotive in its lyricism, there's a raw simplicity here which cuts hard."
