Marion Walker share new video + announce EP release and summer tour

Reno/Seattle psych-rock band Marion Walker have just announced a June 23 release of their new EP Serious Picnic along with a comprehensive US tour this May and June. To celebrate the occasion, today Exclaim! debuted the majestic video for their song "We Won't Be In Love Much Longer" which you can (and should!) check out below. 

Miss Pussycat's "Mystery in Old Bathbath" out on VHS May 22

New from Ryan Graveface of Graveface Records, Terror Vision Records & Video is a new soundtrack and film label set to release a slew of interesting items over the coming months. Today Brooklyn Vegan announced the news of the first VHS release, "Mystery in Old Bathbath," a story imagined and executed by the one and only Miss Pussycat. The film is out May 22 and you can catch Quintron and Miss Pussycat on a massive US tour this summer. 

Mittenfields debut new single with Clash Music

DC rock outfit Mittenfields saw the release of a new track off their forthcoming Optimists LP today via UK's Clash Music. "Assured in its songwriting and bluntly emotive in its lyricism, there's a raw simplicity here which cuts hard."

Furious Hoops Vol. 1 featured on Rolling Stone

In other Record Store Day news... Today, Rolling Stone gave a shout out to the Furious Hoops Vol. 1 compilation coming to you from another Savannah-based label, Furious Hooves. The theme is 90s basketball and the contributors range from local musicians to side projects from members of groups like Wild Nothing and Mac DeMarco. It's printed on basketball-orange vinyl and comes with a 44-page zine of related content.
