Bay Area recording artist Lady Lazarus has just released the hauntingly beautiful music video for recent single “Driving the Streets of Your Town” via Impose Magazine. Jeff Cubbison for Impose says, “Over the last decade, she has crafted a stunningly ethereal, atmospheric brand of piano/keyboard-driven dream folk-pop full of existential imagery, confessional songwriting, and wistful moods.” Check out the new video below and preorder the album via Bandcamp HERE.

Young Mister share video for "What If I?"

Last week, we saw the release of the first single from a new record from NC’s Steven Fiore (aka Young Mister) and today we’re treated to some lovely visuals to accompany the track. “It all feels very peaceful, like we’re getting a look inside some of his happiest memories,” says Substream Magazine who have the premiere. PARENTZ drop "Dead Mall" remix + 'frens and frenemies' playlist

Bay Area experimental electronic duo PARENTZ returned earlier this summer with the lovely and nostalgic “Dead Mall,” which is being remixed this week by fellow Bay Area group Pretty, Handsome. PARENTZ have also put together a playlist of songs from their friends, influences, and contemporaries that will have to jamming through all the way to weekend. Young Mister shares first single from sophomore LP

West/Step share new track at Tiny Mix Tapes

Pittsburgh’s West/Step have just released a new track from their upcoming 8/2 LP, This is Terrifying, with the folks over at Tiny Mix Tapes. "Hackurwayhome" combines elements of shoegaze and bedroom pop. A slow burner, the song unfolds gradually, with hazy guitars, feedback and ambient noise, and echoey vocals all layered on themselves before the drum machine percussion hits around two minutes in. A bit dark, but ultimately hopeful in sound, this track sets the tone for the rest of the album, as Whitman describes it:

"This Is Terrifying is a group of songs that deal directly with facing fear and insecurity.
A reflection on years of personal struggle. Songs and words of hope and light shine through layers of somewhat dark melodies.”
